21 May Happy Tail for Sydney
I’ve had Sydney just over two months now and I’m so happy to have her. She gets along great with my roommate too. We have a lot of fun playing tug of war or throwing her tennis ball for her. Sydney was very nervous in the car when we first put her in the back seat but she’s now realized that going in the car means that she gets to go to the lakes and she will try and push her way into the garage any chance that she gets. 
At the lakes I was nervous how she would react with my family’s little dogs because they have never played with a big dog. She passed with flying colors and is very gentle with my 15 month old nephew also! The next big hurdle was to see if she was afraid of the lake. I took her down to the landing and she dove straight in. We now play fetch in the lake every weekend and she is quite the little swimmer.
We started puppy kindergarten this fall to work on simple commands and get her socialized with other dogs. I think she’s enjoying it and I’m already seeing results.
