21 May Happy Tail for Liberty
Hi! My name is Liberty, but my new Mom and Dad mostly call me “Libby”. I’m part Old English Sheepdog and part St. Bernard (and if you believe my mom, I’m about half woolly mammoth.) I was a world traveler before I got to my forever family- starting out in Duluth, MN, next going to Fargo and Barnesville before finally settling into my forever home in Bismarck.
At first I was a handful, especially for my mom, (at 110 pounds, I weight the same as she does!) but the wonderful volunteers at 4luvofdog coached my mom and taught her what to do to teach me my manners. I’ve really come a long way and Dad and Mom are so proud of me.
I’m just a puppy so I still have lots to learn, but my big brother, Mac, is teaching me too so I’m learning fast. I love to run and play and Mac has introduced me to the other dogs in the area. He’s a good big brother. Every night he and my mom and dad and I all go for a long walk together. I love “pack time”-it’s my favorite time of day!
Part of settling into my new home was learning my role in the pack and I now know where I fit in and what’s expected of me. In fact, I have a VERY important job in our pack. When my Mom falls asleep watching TV, it’s my job to be her pillow. ( And I love my job.)
