Foster Home Feedback
1/11/2025 Foster Feedback: June Bug is a whopping 12 lbs now!!! She is growing nicely though gets distracted while eating. She joins in enthusiastically when her mentor dogs show their delight with food.
Taking naps is a favorite activity of hers, and she has shown us that the best way to get some sleep is to tuck her head under blankets, pillows or in your overalls. She will occasionally stick out her tongue when getting some seriously deep sleep. Can she get any cuter? I think not!
With this latest cold snap - she now doesn’t love going outside to do her business. She will still go but prefers to use the puppy pads.
June Bug is curious about the resident cats, but she gives them space. They will find her peeking around the corner to get a good look. When spotted she will go to another corner to peek around.
Junie loves play, with her signature move of rolling on her back and fending off her playmates with her hind legs. Her size doesn’t hold her back in her pursuit for a good time.
We discovered she loves chewing on the kitchen chairs much to our chagrin. She is now aware of the joys of Nylabones - for the preferred and more acceptable teething toy. It’s hard to get upset when she looks at you with the most adorable and innocent eyes. Could this little bundle of joy fill that space in your home and heart?
1/1/25 Foster Feedback: June Bug, aka Junie B, is the sweetest little gal. She is adjusting well in these first few days we have had her. She is doing well with potty training but is not a huge fan of being outside in the cold. June Bug usually gets right to business and runs back inside.
She is sleeping in her crate for most of the night.
She is a great snuggler. It is so adorable to see her prancing around and playing. June Bug has the most fun to watch puppy coordination- over shooting her destination, getting caught up in the blankets she is wrestling with.
