Foster Home Feedback
10/10/24 Foster Feedback: Fingal or Fin as he is known in his foster home, is settling and enjoying the life of a puppy! He’s had no accidents, we have made sure to take him out frequently, but he’s also been good at letting us know when he needs to go out.
Fingal loves toys! Squeaky, chewy, whatever it is, it’s his new favorite. He is still learning that shoes belong to people, but they are so easy to grab and run with.
Fingal does need supervision with cats, as he’s still learning they are not toys. We’re working on redirecting and understanding the cats’ queues. He’s not aggressive but does try to initiate wrestling and playing with our older cat.
Fingal loves being outside and enjoying the smells, sun and walks. He’s done so good on tandem walks with our resident. He redirects with treats very well if we encounter or hear another dog barking.
Fingal loves kids and enjoys running, playing and cuddling with them. His favorite nighttime routine is laying in their laps for pets while he snoozes.
Fingal has shown no food aggression and is very motivated by treats. He knows sit and is doing great at laying down.
Fingal is looking forward to finding his forever family!
