Kragnes is a sweet boy looking for a loving home
Foster Home Feedback
10/20/24 Foster Feedback: Kragness (we call him Ace) is a super sweet boy that loves his people. We've had him in our home for about a month and he's adjusted nicely. He is a gentle giant but also a strong boy that tends to get a bit jumpy when excited. He loves squeaky toys, playing outside, ice cubes, and taking naps. He's pretty good on walks but seems to be a bit anxious and is constantly checking his surroundings. He's somewhat reactive when he sees other dogs/people and pulls a bit when he catches a scent or sees little critters. It takes about a mile for him to settle down which makes me think he'd make an excellent running partner.
Kragnes gets along well with our dog but is also totally content being on his own. He is hilarious to watch play with his toys (reminds me of a small horse trotting around). He's also great with my cats but doesn't understand why they don't want to play with him. Sometimes he's a little more interested in them then they like but listens well when we tell him to leave them alone.
Other than needing a bit of work on walking, Kragnes is an excellent dog and would make a great companion for anyone!
9/2/23 Temporary Care Feedback: Kragnes is such a little honey. In the short time I had him he really just lounged around and loved to be next to you. He did not have any accidents. He ignored my cat even when my cat would sneak attack him. Kenneling him is a work in progress but with treats he went in, he barked a little at first but once the kennel was near the bed and he could see I was there he settled in for the night. Car rides are a breeze for him, he would just lay in the backseat and only stuck his head out the window a few times. He enjoyed smelling all the smells on our walks and walks with ease.
** Kragnes is Anaplasmosis and Lymes positive. These are tick-borne illnesses, and he is currently being treated with Doxycycline.
